Introduction
It’s been a busy week at Remnant Framing, and I’m excited to share all that’s been happening! From finishing a major exhibit to moving forward with exciting new framing projects, there’s a lot to talk about. In today’s post, I’ll be recapping the latest events, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at my current work, and sharing what’s coming next at Remnant Framing.
The Ebed exhibit Product of Reality is now complete, and I want to thank everyone who came out to appreciate the amazing artwork. I’m also thrilled to announce that the first round of blank canvases has been selling out fast! For those in Huntsville, don’t forget to stop by The Curated Gallery tonight and tomorrow (October 18-19) to catch their next exhibit. The exhibit, Not for the Faint of Heart, blends the South’s eerie past and folklore, featuring haunting landscapes and ghostly apparitions. It will be held at 930 Old Monrovia Rd, Suite 7, Huntsville, AL, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Don’t miss out!

What Am I Working On?
Lately, I’ve been immersed in some really exciting framing projects, and one of the highlights is my work with the talented artist Ase Selah. I’m currently stretching and framing a massive 5 x 6 foot canvas titled Mandela Effect, a bold and intricate piece that Ase sold to a collector earlier this year at Panoply in Huntsville. This is not just any framing project—it's a delicate process of stretching the canvas and crafting a frame that complements the depth and narrative of Ase’s work.
Though this project isn’t part of a collaboration with The Curated Gallery, it has been an honor to work with Ase directly. His vision and the storytelling in his art push me to be more creative with each frame design. Additionally, for those who may not know, I also build and stretch custom-sized canvases using a premium canvas sourced from a company right here in the Southeast, Georgia. It's always a rewarding experience to provide artists with the high-quality materials they need to bring their visions to life.

Who Have I Met?
One of the most rewarding aspects of running Remnant Framing is the chance to meet and collaborate with incredible local talent. Recently, I had the pleasure of framing some prints for Crystal Noble, a Huntsville-based photographer. We initially met when I bought a vintage Gilliam couch from her for my studio. She approached me with an urgent framing request for a show at Campus 805, a popular venue here in Huntsville. So we made it happen with some existing frames she brought in from her studio.
One of the standout pieces was a photograph Crystal took of a model painted by David Nuttall. David, known for his Plausible Fictitious Maps and also has a series titled Human Terrain, in which he paints intricate maps on the human body, and Crystal’s photographs captured this stunning and unique artwork in a powerful way. It was a privilege to frame such a unique piece, and the collaboration between Crystal and David truly brought a new level of depth to their respective art forms. The repurposed frames added a vintage touch that really enhanced the overall presentation of the photos.

What’s Coming Next?
First, I want to give a big shout-out to everyone who supported our first batch of blank canvases. They’ve been selling fast, and I’m excited to announce that more are on the way! Expanding my partnership with this new brand has been a rewarding experience, and I’m thrilled to keep offering high-quality canvases for all the creators out there.
As for gallery openings, be sure to check out The Curated Gallery exhibit happening tonight and tomorrow (October 18-19), featuring the eerie and captivating Not for the Faint of Heart exhibit at 930 Old Monrovia Rd, Suite 7, Huntsville, AL. The show runs from 6 PM to 9 PM, and you can expect to see haunting landscapes and ghostly apparitions inspired by Southern folklore. It's a must-see for art lovers in Huntsville!
