This week at Remnant Framing I have the pleasure of hosting a unique Valentine’s Day Market. Featuring flower arrangements from OldFrond and original paintings by Bri Zierman Felix. It’s a very satisfying event which has come to fruition and unfolded itself in a natural way. Threatened by severe weather in the Southeast and dealing in fresh flowers, we actually hit a good pocket of weather to support the holiday. Anna and Bri collaborated on a vibe for the market and then they executed.
Eros & Bloom, A Valentine's Day Market.
At Railroad Room 3B in Lowe Mill, the space is divided between two creative small businesses. Remnant Framing holds down the front, where I work with artists, collectors, and anyone looking to preserve something meaningful. Old Frond, run by the incredibly talented Anna Lee, thrives in the back, where her floral artistry takes shape—blooming into arrangements that feel more like sculptures than simple bouquets.
So, when we decided to collaborate on a Valentine’s Day Market, I reached out to Bri Zierman Felix, from Lowe Mill studio 2005, whose paintings capture the depth and complexity of love, she is the perfect artist to bring into the fold. Inspired by the myth of Cupid and Psyche, her newest collection, currently at Remnant Framing, explores love’s endurance through layered color and texture. Meanwhile, Anna’s floral arrangements echo the same sentiment—each petal and stem carefully chosen to create harmony, contrast, and movement, much like a painting.
Dodging the worst of the storms just in time for the holiday rush. The energy in the studio has been electric, with Anna and Bri seamlessly bringing their vision to life. These two are absolute pros, and watching them work has been nothing short of inspiring.
This market isn’t just about Valentine’s Day—it’s about connection in all its forms. It’s about love as an art form, whether that means the care put into framing a treasured piece, the storytelling in Bri’s brushstrokes, or the ephemeral beauty of Anna’s flowers. It’s about moments, both grand and quiet, that deserve to be celebrated.
If you’re in Huntsville this week, come by Railroad Room 3B at Lowe Mill and experience it for yourself. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful gift or simply want to soak in the creativity, this market is something special.

Happy Valentine’s Day, and as always—support local, support artists, and surround yourself with things that make life richer.
