What Am I Working On?
This week, I’ve been working on a special framing project for a customer who recently closed down their own curiosity shop here in Huntsville. The shop, Flucy Lucy’s Antique Market, was known for its eclectic collection, and now, we’re framing a beautiful drawing that commemorates the store’s unique history. The original drawing will be housed in a rustic wood frame with a solid core brown mat, giving it a vintage feel that perfectly matches the character of the shop.
This project is extra meaningful because it captures a piece of Huntsville’s local business community, and I’m honored to help preserve it. And the owner of this piece happens to be this week’s customer spotlight.
On another front, we’ve been going through inventory to prep for our first annual “garage sale”—and trust me, you won’t want to miss this! We’ll have clearance prices on leftover materials, including frames, mats, and more. Stay tuned for the official announcement, but get ready to score some amazing deals if you’re looking for discounted framing supplies!

Customer Spotlight
This week’s Customer Spotlight shines on Taylor Mclendon, one of the first people I met when I became a tenant at Lowe Mill. A while back, Taylor was my 100th customer, and since that first framing project, we’ve had the pleasure of working together on a variety of unique and interesting pieces. He is also the owner of the curiosity shop mentioned above.
One of my favorite projects Taylor brought in was an original artwork by Alan Streets—Jesus Carrying the Cross. The detail in Witts’ work was incredible, and it was a joy to frame such a meaningful piece. Customers like Taylor remind me why I love what I do; getting to collaborate with individuals who have such a passion for art and storytelling is what makes each project special.
