Three Big Things Happening at Remnant Framing This Month

As the year winds down, Remnant Framing is doing anything but slowing down. Inside our Railroad Room 3B studio at Lowe Mill, the gallery has been buzzing with new work, new collaborations, artist spotlights, and big projects that will shape the creative landscape of 2026.

This week, we’re excited to share three major updates happening right now, each one reflecting a different corner of the Remnant universe.

1. Last Week to See Kait Steward’s

“The Leaves Are Changing And So Are We”

Kait Steward’s exhibition has been a quiet, glowing wave of color and emotional resonance inside the gallery. The room feels alive with transitions—seasonal, personal, and artistic.

This collection has brought new energy into Remnant Framing, and if you haven’t stepped into the space yet, this is your final chance before the show comes down.

Kait’s use of color and composition pulls you inward. The show feels like the moment right before a change… and the moment right after.

2. The Porch Print

PorchFest FivePoints x Remnant Framing

Now Open for Submissions

We’re honored to officially partner with PorchFest FivePoints to launch something brand new for Huntsville’s art scene:

THE PORCH PRINT

Printmaking Competition & Exhibition

We’re calling on printmakers and graphic designers across the region to create an original poster capturing the music, magic, and neighborhood spirit of PorchFest FivePoints.

This will be the official PorchFest FivePoints 2026 poster—collectible, signed, limited, and very much part of Huntsville’s growing creative archive.

Submission requirements include:
• Digital file upload
• Presented as a screen print, relief print, or similar hand-printed form
• 1–4 colors
• Open to regional artists

Deadline: January 12, 2026

This collaboration is the start of a much bigger relationship between PorchFest, Remnant Framing, and Huntsville’s printmaking community.

3. Announcing the Next Collaboration Show:

There’s No Place Like Mars for the Holidays

A Sci-Fi Art Party & Group Exhibit

Our next collaboration show launches December 6th, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most inventive things we’ve ever hosted:

🚀 “There’s No Place Like Mars For the Holidays”

A Sci-Fi Holiday Art Party & Group Exhibition
Featuring 20+ artists

Think retro sci-fi aesthetics, neon atmospheres, planetary nostalgia, off-world holiday cheer, and the kind of imaginative chaos that only comes from mixing dozens of artists under one roof.

This will be a full-blown art party—immersive, unexpected, and wildly fun.

📅 December 6
7–10 PM
📍 Remnant Framing – Railroad Room 3B
🎉 Free & open to the public
🎨 Art, music, vibes, surprises

If Lowe Mill had a holiday party on another planet—this would be it.

More to Come

Remnant Framing is becoming a hub for creative collisions—artists, community partnerships, storytelling, print culture, and future-facing events.

Whether you’re here for the gallery, the framing, the workshops, or the weirdness—we’re building this place with you, not just for you.

See you in the studio,
Ryan
