Overview:
Remnant Framing and PorchFest Five Points invite printmakers and graphic
designers to create an original poster design celebrating the music, magic, and
community of PorchFest Five Points 2026.

This juried competition and exhibition at Remnant Framing will showcase collectible, signed, artist proofs printed in the spirit of classic concert and festival posters.

The winning design will become the official PorchFest Five Points 2026 poster.
It will be produced in two editions:

  • A fine art collectible print (limited signed and numbered edition)
  • A sponsor-supported promotional poster version

Design Requirements:

  • Medium: Must be presented as a screen print, relief print, linocut,
    woodcut, monotype, or similar hand-printed form.
  • Style: Family friendly and in the spirit of collectible, signed, and numbered concert or festival posters.
  • Size & Orientation:
    Vertical: 18" × 24" (W × H)
  • Theme: Artwork should represent: The spirit of PorchFest — music, art, and community. The Five Points neighborhood, portrayed in a novel and authentic
    way. The magic of music and togetherness that defines the festival.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Eligibility: Open to artists 18+, living or working in the Southeastern U.S.
    or those who have a deep connection to Huntsville, Alabama. 
  • Number of Entries: Up to three (3) designs per artist.
  • Submission Format: High-resolution digital image of the print. (JPG, PNG, or PDF at 300 DPI minimum).
  • Submission Fee: $35 for the first submission
    $25 for the second submission
    $15 for the third submission.  (Fees support exhibition, production, and promotional costs.) Not all entries will be selected for exhibition/competition.
  • Deadline: January 12, 2026 (11:59 PM)
  • Notifications Sent: January 16, 2026
  • Selected Artists:

Artists chosen for exhibition will be asked to deliver an artist proof print to
Remnant Framing by January 31, 2026 for installation during the public voting
period (February 7th through February 28th) marked by opening and closing receptions.

The proof should reflect the final intended production quality and will remain on
display for the duration of the exhibition.

The selected artists have the opportunity to sell their print during the duration of
the event. (Gallery commissions will apply)

After public voting concludes, the most-voted print will be named the official
PorchFest Five Points 2026 poster.

The winning artist design will be printed with support from Remnant, PorchFest
and our printing partner.

1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $100
Honorable Mention: Gift Card to Huntsville Art Supplies

Potential for future solo or group shows in the Remnant Gallery.
