• Medium: Must be presented as a screen print, relief print, linocut,
  woodcut, monotype, or similar hand-printed form.
• Style: Family Friendly and In the spirit of collectible, signed, and numbered concert or festival posters.
• Size & Orientation:
  Vertical: 18" × 24" (W × H)
• Theme: Artwork should represent: The spirit of PorchFest — music, art, and community. The Five Points neighborhood, portrayed in a novel and authentic
  way. The magic of music and togetherness that defines the festival.

 

• Eligibility: Open to artists 18+ living or working in the Southeastern U.S.
  or those who have a deep connection to Huntsville, Alabama. 
• Number of Entries: Up to three (3) designs per artist.
• Submission Format: High-resolution digital image of the print. (JPG, PNG, or PDF at 300 DPI minimum).
• Submission Fee: $35 for the first submission
  $25 for the second submission
  $15 for the third submission.  (Fees support exhibition, production, and promotional costs.) Not all entries will be selected for exhibition/competition.
• Deadline: January 12, 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Notifications Sent: January 16, 2026
• Selected Artists:

Artists chosen for exhibition will be asked to deliver an artist proof print to
Remnant Framing by January 31, 2026 for installation during the public voting
period (February 7th through February 28th) marked by opening and closing receptions.

The proof should reflect the final intended production quality and will remain on
display for the duration of the exhibition.

The selected artists have the opportunity to sell their print during the duration of
the event. (Gallery commissions will apply)

After public voting concludes, the most-voted print will be named the official
PorchFest Five Points 2026 poster.

The winning artist design will be printed with support from Remnant, PorchFest
and our printing partner.

January 16, 2026: Selected artists announced, instructions sent for proof delivery.

January 31, 2026: Selected print designs must arrive to Remnant Framing.

February 7, 2026: Opening night, public voting begins.

February 28, 2026: Closing night, public voting ends. Winner is announced.

Artists retain full copyright ownership of their original artwork. By submitting an entry, the artist grants Remnant Framing a non-exclusive license to reproduce the submitted artwork up to 250 times for use on PorchFest FivePoints Printed Materials, digital promotional materials, and related marketing for the 2026 program and subsequent years for promotional purposes.The artist’s name and artwork title will be credited wherever feasible. No other royalties or fees will be provided beyond the stated prizes.
